绛州鼓乐 (jiang4zhou1gu3yue4; Jiangzhou drum music) is a traditional music of Xinjiang county, Shanxi province (Jiangzhou is an old name of the county). It has a history extending before the Qin Dynasty, and was originally performed locally for sacrifices, celebrations, marriages, temple gatherings, and folk entertainment. The music involves many types of drums and various techniques.

The woman in the video is performing the piece 滚核桃 (gun3he2tao2; Rolling Walnuts). It tells a story of autumn harvest, of when farmers dry walnuts on rooftops and the wind blows the walnuts, causing them to fall and make noise from tumbling along the roof and hitting the ground. You can find an example of what the piece sounds like with a whole ensemble here.

you can also use the ublacklist extension and use this blacklist of AI image generation websites to curate your google image results

there are ALWAYS ways around stuff. it's just a matter of looking into it and asking around

Historically, one of the most reliable sources of widespread banditry was rulers ramping up military recruitment for major wars, then cutting their soldiers loose afterwards without pay, leaving a bunch of heavily armed men with military experience floating around broke and homeless.

Knowing this, whenever someone jokingly refers to raccoons as "trash bandits", I get a vivid mental image of, like, a raccoon succession crisis leading to a raccoon civil war, the aftermath of which forced the former soldiers of the losing side (who are all raccoons) to take up the life of the raccoon outlaw.
