i think that if a little pony from my little pony was exalted by the Unconquered Sun or another of the Celestial Incarnae, part of their anima banner would be getting like a glowing anima horn or glowing anima wings or both depending on what type of horse they are. so that they are alicorns while at burning level or higher. like that one horse in gen 5. and also their caste mark would be on their flank superimposed over their regular cutie mark instead of on their forehead. just in case anyone was wondering how it would work i thought about it so you don't have to.

and of course a Dragonblooded pony is usually exalting at the time they get their cutie mark so their elemental nature is naturally incorporated in their cutie mark somehow. i feel like that's pretty self apparent.

and OBVIOUSLY if a little pony from my little pony makes a dread pact with the Neverborn and becomes an Abyssal her cutie mark is straight up sloughed off as part of her dark bargain! we can all easily arrive at this conclusion!

this is true because they're branded with a sinister new mark at the same time as they receive their dark title. and you can usually kind of tell what Pony Deathlord they serve under based on the stylistic elements of their new mark.

I always think that sport events, especially international ones, are primarily about fun and cultural exchange and hanging out together; it gets lost sometimes when people pay too much attention to keeping scores, but joy and building bridges should be more important. So glad this seems to be happening right now!

there's this ridiculously soulmatey line in the phm book when grace is just kinda idly wondering aloud about why human and eridian technology are at such similar phases of development, and without thinking about it much rocky responds "has to be, or you and I would not meet." which he goes on to explain as (paraphrasing here) "if either planet were less advanced then we couldn't have built interstellar ships, but if either were more advanced then we could have dealt with the astrophage problem from home, so we'd have to be at around the same level to both be here, that's the only way it would make sense." what it sounds like though is "oh, that's easy: the two of us had to meet so the history of both of our entire species lined up in preparation to make it possible." what kind of tau-ceti-crossed red-petrova-line-of-fate nonsense is this.

The argument that "of course battle shonen are misogynistic and can't center women, they're targeted at young boys and will have to focus on and appeal to them!" is stupid for many reasons - not least the fact that we literally know that plenty of women read them - but it especially annoys me because even as one of the fourteen years old boys they so like to use as a shield I was already complaining about the treatment of women in the manga I liked & getting overly attached to any girl that was allowed to be even half as badass and strong as the boys like someone dying in a desert being offered a bottle of water and if some guy at the time had told me "sorry but you're going to have to deal with it because you boys aren't supposed to care about female characters" I would have become the Joker
