This is a bit surreal, because first I'm like 'hey, how do you even know about this subject', but secondly because, in spite of reunification with Moldova being like a kind of perennial pipe dream, I don't think many Romanians genuinely believe that's like, a possibility. For one, there are a lot of prohibitive factors at play here (Romania's economy not being able to withstand absorbing new territory), but also because like, Moldova would have to actually want it. They'd probably have to want it a lot more than we do, considering. And actually work towards it.

Now, even disregarding Russian psy-ops, The Republic of Moldova has actually developed its own divergent culture since being portioned off from Romania in 1940, so I wouldn't assume a vast majority of Moldavians would even want that.

However, now I see articles like this:
