It's a hub blog tbh

Mom’s probably going to be in the hospital for a few days, and then is going to need care afterwards. We’re working on getting in-home care but we all know how slow the process for anything medically accommodating is!

And our state does have paid family and medical leave, but we don’t know how long it’s going to take to get that approved.

In other words, while we’re working shit out, I’m probably going to be losing pay.

If anyone can give ANYTHING, even a few bucks, it would really help us keep up on bills, plus the gas it takes to drive back and forth the sixty miles to the hospital she’s in.

All this is to say, this is all incredibly expensive, and we don't know how much of it we can afford. The prices are;

Emergency room: 950 euros

Hospitalisation: 1500-2000 euros

Surgery: 3200-3600 euros
