"Its possible to acknowledge he's a bad person and be saddened by-" dude he's dead. He died violently and suddenly and it was probably awful the entire time. A guy died. Stop turning everything into how you have the morally superior take. A guy DIED in a TERRIBLE way. Now is not the fucking time to go "erm acshtually he did xyz" or disclaimer everything with how you Don't Support Him. You don't need to say that about someone who just died in a violent and painful way. You don't need to turn someone's death into that. The guy has friends and family who can see that shit, be quiet if you can't keep that to yourself.
Besides, he was only 31. If you think someone is finished cooking at 31 you have a big storm coming. You don't know the kind of person he would've become if he had the chance to actually live his life instead of just the beginning of it.
Don't turn someone's DEATH into how your opinion of him is the most morally pure one on the internet. He wasn't a war criminal, he was a boy band member who got internationally mega-famous when he could barely even legally drink

I feel so fucking lucky to have been shaped into the person I am today by One Direction. 2024 me does not exist as I am today, without them. How lucky am I to have be changed by them. I’m here today on this tumblr, with all of you- friends, mutuals, strangers- because of them. One Direction will always be woven into the fabric of my memories, experiences and dreams. i don’t think i have any words that are profound or someone hasn’t already said. i left here in 2020 after one of my online friends passed suddenly, and i never got to say goodbye to her nor get closure. it still stings to this day. and this feels remarkably close to that, except it brought me back here bc i need to connect with people who get it. all I keep seeing is people saying he doesn’t deserve sympathy or being incredibly disrespectful of someone who, to me, was transformative and foundational to my development. I wouldn’t be the person i am today without liam payne. I may have not made it to today without liam payne. I realize it may not be black and white. but it’s not as simple as he was a bad person. I simply can’t believe that.
i just keep thinking about louis and all of his writing about grief in his music. how he lost the mother who was his best friend and then just over a year later one of his little sisters, and now he's losing someone else who meant so so much to him - who was at one point or several points of his life his best friend. he's lost so much and now he's losing liam too. it just feels so surreal. none of this feels like it's real.
He was human. Please remember to always spread love and be there for each other. Liam was part of something that was my most safest places. I hope he is in the regions of the summer stars, love you Liam.
