The Vindicator, who for unknown reasons is named as a thing that ‘proves someone right’. Yah-hah.

This object we have never seen before, called a ‘Vortex Indicator’ which the Doctor says he “will call Vindicator”. However the Rani also calls it a Vindicator rather than its proper name, which is suspicious. We get a limited description of it as a thing that ‘casts out a signal’ to a place in time-space. Seeming to link them up to make a sort of net *is briefly tasered by remembering the Archangel Network* that allows for more location specifics, which will help them land. It didn’t. The TARDIS got exploded. The indestructible TARDIS. We just (literally) wake up from that with no explanation. Where the TARDIS has now hooked up with the Ranis and let them in to get what they want. The Vindicator. And why do they want that?
