my favorite genre of warframe item is "this isnt an actual object that exists, someone was clearly just dicking around in blender"
a few good examples:
cabochon embolos, thaumica, and tellurium. like, what even are these objects? they almost look A.I. generated, but DE has been working in this style long before A.I. generated content became sensationalized (and not to put all my trust eggs into a corporation's basket but i dont think that DE would use A.I. generation).
it's almost like they've created the suggestion of an object, using colors and shapes to leave the viewer's imagination up to deciding how these objects are used for crafting. you can imagine how they might feel and look in real life, or what they might be used for in a sci-fi setting, but they're not really anything in particular.
it'd be a crime if i didn't mention classics like nano spores, polymer bundles, and plastids. like, what am i fucking looking at here? some fucking spores? a little plastic wires and tube? i love it. i eat this shit up. i can't wait until DE releases some more fucking bullshit and im not kidding
