TW suicide but absolutely obsessed with the to be or not to be/chooses death note parallel idea. Edgeworth has shakespearean actor vibes and brooding Hamlet vibes and for years I've privately nicknamed the to be or not to be monologue "the fancy suicide apology" or the "please get Hamlet therapy" speech (although tbh every single one of his monologues counts as a "please get Hamlet therapy" speech), so that fits so well. But while the vibes match to a T, I am absolutely BURNING of curiosity regarding the execution because I cannot figure out how you may be thinking of pulling it off! TL;DR please please please please do it

also you know when maya just kind of says shit that's written off as joking and then later turns out to be true. like when she got mad at dee vasquez and started going nick. nick. it's her. she's the killer. my fey blood speaks to me nick cmon. or when you present the shichishito to her and she's like idk why but i'm getting this aura of anger and tragedy from it..... what's up with that.

#i feel like this is her being well... very powerful spiritually but not exactly in touch with the powers at the same time #so they manifest in this weird subconscious way #WHICH IS WHERE MY PHOENIX PROPHETIC VISIONS HC COMES FROM BUT! that's another story #like obviously the master's main skill is channelling spurits but divination often heavily relies on connections with th spirits #like getting messages from them or just a spiritual source in general #or connecting with your own spirit and potential #so i think it makes sense for maya's prophecies and intuition to manifest in such a funny haha way because at the end of the day #that's the role she plays #she jokes around with her sister on her phone when she says it has been lonely and horrible but hey it's a joke #she is the weird girl assistant #she is the goofy little sister #and to herself she is useless apart from that #no wonder she doesn't see her full potential at that point in the games yk

i have my issues with the later games, but they're great overall

phoenix wright is honestly just an insane character when you think about like he looks normal. just some guy. and then you find out he ate glass + deadly poison but ended up completely fine. fell off a 40 foot burning bridge into freezing raging waters known for washing bodies away. just gets a cold. not to mention being hit by a car, thrown into the air, and hitting his head on a metal pole, but walking away with only a sprained ankle. and of course being bludgeoned over the head with a fire extinguisher to the point of amnesia. totally an every day occurence btw. i want to shoot him with a gun.
