I think my main dilemma regarding the future of this blog is that I have always found it very important to have a critical space for things you enjoy. Ace attorney is one of my favorite interests and a big way I express that is with criticism towards it and its characters. However, a large part of fandom simply doesn’t process it the way I do— not that they’re unintelligent or anything similar in any manner, or that the way I express interest in the medium is superior, it’s that generally speaking, people usually exclusively express positive discussion about the things they are interested in.
That’s why I wanted an anonymous space for expressed criticism in the ace attorney space but most of it just gets rewritten as “hate” and “ragebait” and I get tons of anon asks that talk about how I should delete this blog made to express hate about the franchise when it’s literally the opposite of what I want to do.
So. Idk. Let me know what you guys think about the future of aahottakes
