You know it’s love when all you want is that person to be happy, even if you’re not part of their happiness.

and that was the thing about her, she kept on surviving. with bullet holes in her lungs, and knife marks etched in her back. she never let anything get in her way, resilient. a fighter, not by choice. but a warrior at heart.

The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself.

It’s hard to be heavy; it’s hard to loose weight. Which hard are you willing to tolerate?

“Weight and body oppression is oppressive to everyone. When you live in a society that says that one kind of body is bad and and other is good, those with “good” bodies constantly fear that their bodies will go “bad”, and those with “bad” bodies are expected feel shame and do everything they can to have “good” bodies. In the process, we torture our bodies, and do everything from engage in disordered eating to invasive surgery to make ourselves okay. Nobody wins in this kind of struggle.”

“Sometimes I realise,” she says slowly, “that we are all alone after all.” “That’s sad,” he remarks. “Yeah.” She looks down at her shoes. They are scuffed. “You made me realise that.”

For once, even just for once. I want to feel that there’s someone out there who’s afraid to lose me. I want to feel that someone wants me in their life that i don’t need to keep on insisting myself. I’m always the one who is so afraid to lose the important people in my life. I’m always the one who gives more, the one who always makes them feel that i don’t want to lose them. And i wonder if there will be someone who will fight to keep me in their life.

Let your smile change the world, but never let the world change your smile.

I wonder how many people lose the only person in their life that will ever get their whole heart. I wonder how many people just let go because they think it will be easier. I wonder what it is like to have to move on, but knowing that you will always want him over anyone else. Well for all those people I have some advice: When you finally find him, when he makes you happier then anyone else, never let him slip away. Hold on with everything you got and fight till the very end. Because all your life you will have him in the back of your mind. Sure you’ll love again, but will it be the same? Never. Because he was the one.

At the end of the day, life is about making yourself happy and being able to say that you are proud of who you are. If you have a job that you hate and a boss who’s an asshole, then quit. If you can’t quit because you need to pay the bills, that’s cool too but don’t forget to give yourself time to just chill. If you’re not happy with your life, it doesn’t matter what other people think. If you’re not happy with yourself, it doesn’t matter that other people are. This is your life, nobody else’s. And I think people forget that.

Ever have that one person in your life that you just can’t give up on, the one person that can screw you over time after time yet you always seem to give them another chance, and no matter how many times you say this is their last one, you know it’s a lie because there’s always just one more waiting for them. the one person you know you’re better off without but yet you can’t find a way to let them go because deep down inside, you wouldn’t know what to do without them. The one person you know doesn’t deserve you but yet you choose to overlook it because you love him.
