Sometimes we think we're grieving a person when in reality, we're grieving an idea.

Promise yourself to never abandon yourself again.

It's like you want to meet someone good but then you do and they're boring because there's nothing to "fix" and you end up attracted to someone off.

I'm gonna write a book about my fucked up family.

Do you ever feel like people only want to sleep with you but they don't wanna get to know you?

Whenever someone makes you feel bad tell them to FUCK OFF.

Some people hurt us because they have so much pain inside they want you to feel it too.

It is incredibly painful to remove the blindfold that stops us from realizing we've been hurt. There's an impotence and grief that follows realizing our life has been a lie. It is incredibly hard to reset our idea of love and make room for true love, respect and caring people because it is not what we know. It takes a lot of strength, time and work for this to happen. Don't give up, we can learn.

Love in relationships are molded by what you were taught love was. It's never too late to begin to redefine it.

Some relationships break. Some others shatter.

Awareness is tricky. At first you're sad, upset, uncomfortable. You start to realize all the unfairness in your life. You stop lying to yourself and admit that what happened to you was wrong and after you grieve what you idealized, you start making the right choices. You start living.

Child abuse is awful, it stays with you. There was something done to you that wasn't your fault, and then you spend your whole life trying to put the pieces back together again. You also see these people responsible, go on with their lives and you just think, how unfair. They don't have to struggle with this pain, day by day.

It's like you were given this manual for life that doesn't work and you have to throw it out and write it yourself all over again.
