I want to be just a hairy chubby dude who barbecues in the front lawn with the neighbors one day.
That doesn't negate the fact that I was a little girl who twirled around in dresses because my parent's told me I was a little girl and at that point I didn't care enough about it.
Doesnt change that I'm still my fathers chiquita
Im still my mommas little girl
I cant change their opinions of me, I still love them.
Using he/him pronouns doesnt stop people from honking at me and catcalling me when i go on walks regardless of what I'm wearing.
That doesnt change the fact that I look very very feminine for my age.
And I love my body some days.
The more masculine I feel, the more likely I am to dress up in frills and skirts because if I'm confident in my body, no one can tell me otherwise.
The less confident I am in my masculinity, the more i just throw on another pair of jeans and the dysphoria hoodie.
It doesnt erase my entire childhood and ongoing teenhood.
I know transmascs who dread their childhood being raised as little girls. They want nothing to do with it.
But alas, my childhood *gasp* shaped who I am as a person! And that childhood I was percived as a girl, even if I did more boy things than the cis boys around me. I was just "an extra cool girl" in peoples eyes because I was pretty and also liked blowing stuff up.
If one trans woman doesn't want anything to do with thinking about her childhood, who am I to judge her?
The same with another trans woman who is okay with her childhood similarly to how I am. I'm not going to judge her either.
Because all trans people have different views of their lived expiriences, bodies, and those lived expiriences do not just magically disappear when you realize your trans (whatever age that may be) and when you come out as trans (again, whatever age that may be)
Hi, im a trans man, i use he him pronouns. I still get catcalled, i was still abused by someone who saw me as a girl when it happened, and I still expirience misogyny from people who either dont know or dont care that i really am a boy.
I saw an analogy that I was only being grazed by the bullet of misogyny because it was meant to shoot a woman.
I was still fucking shot all the same by the motherfucker because they see me as a woman.
That motherfucker celebrates because they attacked a woman.
And I'll still get the wrong name plastered on my tombstone.
But it wasnt misogyny that got me? Was it?
Because like 8 people know irl know i use he/him pronouns, and i use he/him on the internet where im a faceless entity with a shitty idea-vomit blog.
Yeah, i hold onto the fact that I was born a girl.
I hold onto that BECAUSE IT AFFECTED MY ENTIRE LIFE LEADING UP TO WHEN I REALIZED I WANTED A PENIS IN PRESCHOOL, PAST WHEN I CAME OUT THE FIRST TIME IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND STILL FUCKING AFFECTS ME EVEN AS I WORK TO COME OUT AGAIN.
WHO COULD HAVE FORSEEN THAT?
