Transracial PoC Checking In

To begin, this is the most offensive movie I have ever seen. I cannot believe  people would allow this to be shown in theaters. As an individual that does not identify as a white person and faces the same struggles as other PoC do, this movie is a mockery to my lifestyle. I did not choose to be what I am and Jamie Kennedy's character in this movie is absolutely disgusting.

I can not stand the fact that this movie was popular for a long time and it kills me every time I hear someone make a reference to it in public. I don't have the ability to just go up to them and tell them why they are wrong for thinking this is a good movie.

If you haven't seen it, this movie focuses on a straight cis white male and his "struggle" with being a "black rapper". It's a comedy, which apparently Hollywood only makes of these types of people because the white males in charge of production wouldn't want to give society a taste of what it's really like to be someone that truly identifies as a PoC.
