had my top surgery consultation today. i don’t have a date yet, but knowing that i won’t have to use an binder come next year made my day.

My Gender Dysphoria revolves around my discomfort with my chest. There’s been so many times I’ve been sick to my stomache, mentally/physically paralyzed, or just plain embarrassed by my bigger chest. I’ve been binding ince ‘08 and I’m sick of it.

I made a list of pros for getting my nipples removed then sewed back on:

so I can sleep without my top

so I don’t have to feel like meat in a sausage casing when I’m wearing a binder

so I can feel more confident when handling women intimately

so i can wear the shirts i never wear bc i hate the way my chest looks

so i don’t have to go to the restroom every 30 minutes to adjust my binder

so i can learn how to swim

so I can live my life as my authentic self

My CONS list:

1% chance my nipples fall off

Pro to that con:
