Generally smart but with one really stupid belief or glaring knowledge gap
Generally stupid but insanely knowledgeable about one specific thing

So tfa Megatron is very distinctly of the belief that fate, destiny, and purpose rule supreme as enforced by the cosmos. Everything is predetermined, what is meant to be will be, he does not believe in luck.

Additional note - the shuttles that exist right now canât take off the ground on their own. They need rockets to launch. But the Shuttles that could fly without rockets arenât that unrealistic, theyâre just different. They were designed but sadly the project got abandoned. You can search X-33 to see for yourself:)
