‘The first year we lost, he hit me. Just sort of…’ *mimes hitting out* ‘…like that.’

 … ‘And the second year we kissed, quite passionately, and they didn’t put it on the telly. Yeah. We just went for it. It was very exciting.’ 

… ‘Because no one saw it, it was as if it didn’t happen. But I know it happened. I can still feel his lips on my lips and his hands all over me.’

I looked up the BAFTA broadcast from that year and there’s a tiny moment when they’re reading the winner that it flashes to Alex and Greg and you can see Alex make a sort of kissy face with his lips, as if he’s the one proposing it. But the fact that we don’t see the kiss itself is my villain origin story.
