Just saw the movie "Together" starring Dave Franco and Alison Brie and there's only one thing that confused me. And I know I'm not crazy, because my friend with me noticed this same thing.

SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST FEW MINUTES OF THE MOVIE!!

At the beginning, there's a search party of people and two dogs in the woods. One guy whistles a couple times for the dogs to come back. Then there's a shot of him looking at the dogs, and the camera cuts over to the dogs, except it's very obviously two fake ass stuffed dogs just sitting in the middle of the woods. Literally just several seconds of two taxidermy-looking dogs standing in a clearing facing each other. No special effects, no live dogs, just that. Then it carries on to the next scene and that's it.

..... like what the fuck was that about?? Was it some kind of editing error, like they used the fake dogs as stand-ins while filming the scene and someone forgot to CGI real ones in before they sent the movie out? Was it supposed to be a metaphor or something?? I tried googling this multiple times with different phrasing, but haven't been able to find anything other than spoiler warnings that the two dogs fuse together at the beginning. This is just baffling to me, it's gonna bother me for days tbh
