Torchwood wouldve been objectively funnier if after the first episode when Gwens memories of meeting them got erased, she never remembered and the rest of the show was a normal police procedural that would randomly cut to the Torchwood team in the background trying to cover up weird alien shit

The only criticism I have about this season is Captain Jack’s glorified cameo. Barrowman deserves better than that. I mean, it could have been done so much better, been a true wild card that none of us saw coming.
Can you imagine, at the end of The Timeless Children, when the Doctor was transported to her cell, she turned around to see that her cell mate is none other than Captain Jack? Now that would have been a hell of a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger we, and Jack, deserved.
That aside, I’m gonna hold on to the teeny amount of hope I have left that Jack could still pop up in Revolution of the Daleks. It’s like Jack said, if the Doctor needs him, he’ll be there. And she sure could use a friend right about now.
