I think there's a thing to the argument that "people demonize testosterone as this horrible thing" but also this argument is 9 times outta 10 used against trans women being dismayed by dysphoria who arent actually saying this shit. Remaking the post because it wasn't getting any traction and I have an upper endoscopy upcoming and will need gas money for it, as well as pay off a bill, and I'd like (after everything is paid for) to get updated glasses but my insurance isn't taken anywhere for glasses nor exams sooo I would need help to pay out of pocket for an eye exam, and to make it to said appointment, and then I can get updated glasses (all mine except one I found after mentioning my previous glasses broke [in a post] is completely unwearable)

im rereading it right now and in the foreword of the 2nd edition she very explicitly says that whipping girl was based heavily on her own experiences and was not meant to be a definitive work that covers every single trans experience.
like, she is not maliciously refusing to talk about the transphobia trans men face (in fact she acknowledged repeatedly in her various works that we are oppressed and experience transphobia) she just doesn't go super indepth because she is not a trans man.
