For a mansion so huge, Ariana rarely found herself in more than just a few rooms throughout the day. Never venturing out too far from her normal routine, which mightβve explained why she was becoming so easily frustrated lately. If she wasnβt fighting with one person, it was another, and for the pettiest of reasons. Maybe this is what people meant by going stir crazy. It was ironic considering the whole reason she came to the house in the first place was to break away from routine and indulge in the kind of spontaneity that she craved that seemed so unreachable before. Which was apparently a difficult task for a creature of habit like herself. Sheβd change that today, though, she swore to herself as she entered a few rooms she had neglected during her stay in the Big Brother house.
After visiting a handful with no luck of any more fun than she normally had, she resigned herself to a fate of boredom (at least until she got a second wind, if that ever came) and plopped herself on one of the couches in the common room. It was only when she heard a soft thud that she realized she had knocked something off of it, leaning forward to inspect the damage. Thankfully, it didnβt look like there was any at all, just an open leather bound book. One she couldβve sworn she had seen before being carried around but right now with as tired as she was from her little journey the dots werenβt connecting. Figuring maybe a name had to be on it somewhere, she picked it up and began looking to no avail. Maybe sheβd recognize the writing, though.
Ariana had planned to stop at one sentence, knowing that would be enough to figure out if she knew the owner of the penmanship or not, but one sentence quickly became two as it drew her into the next and then three and before she knew it she had finished the entire page. It wasnβt curiosity that motivated her anymore, though, but anger. Where did the person writing this get off? Line after line just trashing those who she was ninety percent sure had no fucking clue they were even being written about. What was this? Someoneβs version of their very own Burn Book? Or maybe something worse? Could it have been notes for tabloids? She didnβt know but she sure as hell was going to find out.
Chad was only gone for like five minutes, tops. Just long enough to take a piss and wash his hands at the very least. He stretched his arms above his head with a small groan and a yawn. God, his back was killing him. He knew it wasnβt these new beds, they were comfortable as anything with crisp new sheets but there was definitely something going on. He had been getting all kids of random aches and pains all over his body lately. One day it would be his neck, another day it would be his lower back. The aches and pains would come and go but it wasnβt half annoying. He just blamed it on his age but he knew, at the back of his mind, that he shouldnβt be hurting this much at the age of thirty seven.
He took his time walking back to the lounge, still trying to get used to the new lay out of the LA mansion. He was quite glad to be back on home soil, just in case anything happened. He took a few wrong corners before he finally found himself walking in the right direction and into the lounge that he had only left a few minutes prior. He had only walked about a foot into the room before he had to stop in his tracks, his eyes narrowing in on the scene before him.
Sat on the seat and reading his own personal journal was none other than Ariana Grande. Chad was flabbergasted at first then anxious then angry.Β βWhat the hell do you think youβre doing?β Chad exclaimed with furrowed eyebrows and his mouth screwed tight in anger. How dare she. How dare she look at something so private and personal without even a second thought. Chad was equal parts pissed off and worried because he knew what was written in there. Amongst bad-mouthing some of the contestants, there were personal details in there about his illness. Details that he didnβt want anyone to know. Especially not Ariana Grande.
βWho said you could look through that?β Chad strode further into the room, his eyes now blazing with fiery emotion.Β βDid you Mother never tell you to not look at things that donβt concern you?β He reached out a hand to grab his journal back.
