I apologize for every time I whined, complained or vague-posted about lack of engagement and lack of interest on my posts, and most especially on my writing. It was wrong and unrealistic to expect anyone to engage with it, regardless of how much effort I put into it. I was wrong to presume my effort should equal your interest, and then complain when my expectations didn't align with reality.

And honestly? It was objectively bad anyway. In hindsight, if I were a stranger and someone had presented it to me, I probably wouldn't have read it either, which makes my expectations of engagement doubly unreasonable.

As you may or may not have noticed, I haven't posted anything meaningful on here since before Christmas. I haven't actually written anything since before Christmas either. I don't know if or when I'll write again, and even if I do resume, I won't be sharing it.

He tried to kill Sailor. If he'd been able to catch her, he likely would've snapped her neck. And no, I am not exaggerating because he was yelling that he would kill her. I have never seen anyone lose it like that in real life before, and I have seen some shit with the clientele I have. He was mad because she was barking while we were having breakfast, and he just snapped. Our 81 year old father was afraid of him, and I think that scared me even more than what he actually tried to do. I'm not joking, I literally grabbed Sailor and ran out of the room. Our mother said he should apologize to me, and he tried to make it about himself. He tried to blame "anxiety" which is bullshit, because I have a literal diagnosis of Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and I have a temper too when my anxiety is bad, but I have NEVER chosen violence or attacked anyone. It's literal bullshit for someone to blame their mental illness for their bad behaviours. He needs fucking help, but no... somehow this is my fault for not controlling my dogs and for setting him off. Fuck that.

So yeah... I haven't felt like being on here for a while. The girls and I are back at home now, and I told my parents that I'll only go to their place again if I go when he's not there. My mother gets it. She said she understood, which I am grateful for. She told me that she saw him go off like that at his 11 year old son (my nephew) when she was at their house, so I guess this isn't the first time.

Anyway, I'm working on a new short story, so I should have something to post by the weekend (not that anybody reads them, but you know...) I'm still working on the novel, but I got a Switch 2, so I might be gaming more than writing for the next little while.
