I so often see people saying TME/TMA is useless because it "collapses all non-transfems into one class regardless of their marginalization on other axes," and this is framed as a failure of intersectionality
they never explain why TME/TMA is different from every other axis of oppression in this regard, though. a cracker marginalized on other axes is still a cracker. we don't throw out the entire ability to call them white just because they're also marginalized. understanding that they're still a cracker despite being marginalized in other ways is, in fact, the entire point of intersectionality
YOU 🫵 are still TME regardless of how you are marginalized in other ways. if YOU 🫵 were a transfem, YOU 🫵 would be having it worse right now
The trans men who do this have no problem with the assertion that being trans is so important that trans men cannot ever be grouped with cis men or differentiated from trans or cis women.
