im thinking about the transfem in the math department at my undergrad who i only overlapped with for my second year. im thinking about the doors they helped me open in the department. im thinking about the things i told her when experimenting with gender was especially new and especially scary. im thinking about how much i want to show her the person ive grown into, how much more confident and myself i am now.
