Tommy had never had a successful relationship, either, but then again, he’d never felt like this before. He had never been so into the idea of relationship as he was right in this very moment. He’d been dreaming about Len for a year and never thought he’d actually be sitting here, holding hands with him, much less kissing him! Tommy was absolutely over the moon and it showed in his face. He had to laugh at the idea of secret boyfriends, but he nodded, too. “Yeah, I mean, I guess it does...” he smiled brightly at Len. “I like that idea... I mean, the boyfriends part...” he admitted with a slight blush on his cheeks.

“yeah, i did,” he smiled, nodding. he leaned into the hug and when she pulled back, he nodded again. “yeah, i ain’t got nothin’ else to do. c’mon. i’ll take you to her,” tommy said, standing up and offering a hand to clary to assist her. “you need to grab anything before we go? it’s a good 20-30 minute drive.”

“Well ain’t you lookin’ as spiffy as ever,” Genesis said upon seeing Tommy from the distance, her voice purposefully mocking the male’s southern drawl. “What’s the occasion? You dressing up to see me or something?” It was a joke and it became fairly obvious as the girl released a small but playful chuckle. / / @tommyainsford

Tommy smiled, looking down at his clothes. He was dressed nice. “Just came from church with mama, but I saw no reason to dress down for ya,” he laughed. “You got any plans tonight? You wanna do somethin’?” 

Three weeks on the rigs in Mobile done and that meant Mark Jones had three weeks of sweet blissful nothing ahead of him. After spending time with his daughters, and trying to get a conversation out of Helene that wasn’t three words, Mark scrambled his way to Bootlegger’s to see a long standing drinking buddy of his. “Tommy!” he declared with his loud and gruff tone when he entered the bar, already spotting the younger male with the beers waiting. “One of those cold ones better be for this old man.” @tommyainsford

It’d been a little bit since he’d seen Mark as he’d been away for work, but he knew he’d be back tonight. That’s why he’d ordered two beers. He turned the second he heard his name and got up, giving him a one armed hug and a slap on the back before he sat back down. “You know it is,” he grinned. “How the hell you been, man? Work go okay?” he asked, settling down on the barstool and taking a sip of his beer.
