According to Freehold Raceway Mall’s homepage, the mall is a shopping center home to anchor stores Nordstrom, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, and over 200 retailers. According to an article published June 15, 2015 by the Asbury Park Press, successful U.K. based discount fast-fashion retailer Primark is set to unveil a flagship retail location inside of the Freehold Raceway Mall during Fiscal 2016. Primark, now expanding to the United States, announced it would move to seven shopping malls -- one of which is Freehold Raceway Mall.

As of 2016, there are several major shopping centers that are composed of anchor retailers, pop-up stands, retailers (both private and public), and boutiques. Several “Main Streets” are also major opportunities for retailers to move into the Jersey Shore and may create exceptionally large revenues due to high-volume tourism activity and increased spending during the summer months.
