i wish i was a leaf

my local area closed a lot of their rail lines in the 50s and 60s but the tracks were converted into admitedly really nice cycle and walking paths. its so nice to be able to walk between towns through a route that almost entirely avoids roads while being very flat and unintimidating. last week i pushed myself to walk one of the routes all the way to the end and it was like. 10 miles? which was very hard on my legs but i enjoyed the challenge. i saw many ducks and moorhens and cows. i even stopped by a farm to buy fresh eggs and carried them all the way home in my backpack. as much as i miss the bustle of the city you also dont really get that experience over there yknow. sorry what were we talking about.
