The villian kidnaps one of the heroes companions, the one they think is the most valuable asset, since they do all the research and is quite clever.

The companions repeats a few times that no one will come for them, that the villian chose the wrong person to kidnap and should've kidnapped the heroes love interest or whatever instead.

The villian doesn't listen, insists that the companion is the most important part of the hero's little team and thus of course someone will come for them ...

How to write embarrassing moments, when you can barley think of them let alone read them?!?

Endgame A+B+C

A has been in a relationship with B for only a few weeks when the pressure of being the ‘perfect partner’ gets to them, making them feel severally inadequate for B.

B of course notices that something is wrong and gently confronts them about it. To not tell the pathetic truth, their mind jumps jumps to the next best thing: Confessing they like someone else.

“Well, who is it?” is for some unknown reason Bs only question.

And because they don't ACTUALLY want to get set up into another relationship anytime soon, they blurt out the one person, who'd never want to be with them: their rival/enemy aka C

However B starts to smile and with a relieved sigh, the confess, they ALSO like C.

The next thing, A knows is, that they're not only STILL with B but also that they both of them are currently propositioning to said rival/enemy aka C?!? Asking them to be in a relationship. The three of them.

And somehow, with a self-satisfying smirk they AGREE?!?! Leading to loads and loads of couple dates and hanging out together and hmm wait this is actually kinda not terrible?

How does it play out:

A KNOWS C knows that THIS wasn't how they wanted the conversation to go, but they just can't prove it. If they are wrong and C genuinely likes the both of them, it would be terr-did they just wink conspicuously?!? They know. They definitely kn- oh remembering this detail about them was actually very sweet of them. Not wait focus!

OR

C immediately calls A out on the lie, the moment B goes to get more drinks, and tells them. They'll “help them” break up with B “Since you can't do anything alone, like the baby you are.” “Fuck you!” “Oh, I'm sure that's part of Bs plan here.” “Oh god!” but slowly they both start to really like it.

Too bad that now C thinks A doesn't like either of them like THAT and B thinks, C likes B ONLY and not them as well.

A wondering, how and when B had time to change enough to have an an actual, loving relationship and wether they themselves had been just been a cheap replacement for this ominous presence cause after all B has said time and time again how “the two of (them) are nothing. Not friends. Not lovers. Certainly not a fucking couple so stop nagging.”

Hero’s sidekick: *rolling their eyes, then kicking the villian and spinning them both around*

Villian: You’re so right. I missed having you on top of me more.

Me, who may has the file open but has been switching backs and forth between reading and writing fanfic:

B: Yes.

A: Oh.

B: You could say it back !

A: I was going to, you asshole!

B: Good!

A: Good!

B: Great!

B: Fine!

A: So ….we’re together now?

B: What else, dumbass.

“I need them to put each other through hell knowingly or not: Constantly dancing on the edge of finally being serious just to pull back out of fear of who they’ll become and what they’ll be capable of or what others might be capable of, when they find out; them playing with each other’s hope like a ping pong ball. I need them leaving every conversation – hell every glance – feeling they’ve been ripped open, guts spilling on the ground, while having to smile and wave at everyone else, and they genuinely don’t notice. I need them to shake with want to do something, unsure of whether that is to finally push the other off a cliff or pull them into a hug which ends in them doing a horrible combination of both. I need them to beg and plead in ways so unceremoniously, while simultaneously looking down on the other doing the same, neither sure, who is really in charge here cause all they can feel is that pull towards each other: “Is it a leash ? Or is it a red string? Either way it’s tied around us and we can’t won’t don’t want to severe it. So why are we both holding a knife? ““

B has been deceived and lied to by ppl who always hide behind a smile or at least kept them at bay with just enough information; so seeing A so actively being rude to them by criticising literally EVERYTHING is….

Surprising andd interesting.

Exhilarating and earthshattering

Fun and very cute.

But most of all: Calming. Reassuring.

Cause no matter what happens, B will ALWAYS know exactly where they stand with A. Cause A wears their emotions in their sleeve and even in moments they try to hide their anger for the sake of keeping the peace… well let’s just say, A is not a good enough actor for that. (E.g. Perpetually angry face)
