Honestly it boils down to reparenting yourself & rewiring your own neuronal pathways & telling yourself a firm “stop” when you notice your mind slipping down negative loopholes & being present in the moment & enjoying being mid task rather than waiting for it to end & not thinking of inertia as your baseline and natural way of living

So tempting to keep embarking on the same self destructive cycle over & over & over again . But at some point you have to put ur foot down w ur own behaviors & be the thing that truly saves u

stop romanticizing satan he's a dumb loser who literally hates all that is good

apparently some people think this is a joke but i can not emphasize enough how entirely serious i am about this

truth. think of all the good things in life. delicious food. a warm hug. a sky full of stars. having a good laugh. satan literally hates all these good things because they come directly from his ultimate enemy, God. sure, he may use good things for a while as bait to get you hooked on destructive habits, but he always cheapens and distorts good stuff and makes it less good. if you don't believe that, stick around to the end and you'll eventually see him suck every last drop of joy out of the very pleasures he used to trap you. and yeah, his ultimate goal is literally to destroy you and all the good things you live for. he's not the guy on your left shoulder trying to get you to have a little fun at the expense of 'the rules.' he may masquerade as that to get his way but in truth, he is anti all good things, including everything mysterious and intriguing and cool, everything hilarious and exciting and fun. satan is not fun, he's boring, lame, vindictive and malicious. it's *God* that is good, because He created goodness itself, He is its source and He is not just good like righteous and just, He is good like a good laugh, good like good wine, good like good music, good like love

The amount of truth in this is incredible.
