Thyme is wearing full tiger print gear, which he hasn’t done since we saw him beat Phupha in first episode. although he has worn tiger attire consistently with Gorya and never with Lita.

we’ve been interpreting his tiger stripes and animal print as a sign of his inability to change or measured his progress and character development.

when he wore his famous banana and half tiger shirt for the bus “date” or tiger donut shirt for zooo date, we were all commenting that Thyme was demonstrating shift in character. he mostly always wears animal print in some shape or form on dates with gorya. so far anyway.

so why is he wearing another animal roomy with two tigers across?

listen, the stripes are not just metaphor for his old behaviour they’re all representing who he is, his authentic self and the person he has become as a result of meeting Gorya.

this is is his real self, vulnerable part.

while before it was disguised in violence as a way to deal with his repressed emotions, he has now learnt how to express his feelings and use his words.

i saw many people asking why is he wearing tiger stripes if he’s changed / no longer violent. well, he’s actually a lil tiger isn’t he? he’s loyal, protects those he loves and if i know anything about the chinese zodiac also fierce.

i’m convinced it’s a way to demonstrate that while you change for the one you love you still retain elements of who you are as a person and thus become the best version of YOU.

Once again MJ proves he’s F4’s backbone, heart, and brain! In an episode that couldn’t even be saved by goat noises we see MJ shine in his quiet way.

It starts with MJ being confronted by Lita.

Poor guy just wants a wholesome threesome and instead gets slapped in the face.

Remember the first episode when no one would mess with F4? Now Lita just straight up slapping the mob boss’s heir with no fear. 🤣

It’s their graduation and the end of an era and MJ is the only one who is thinking of how they should be together.

He’s legit the dad of the group! I cannot believe they had this scene of him tying the tie for Kavin, like he’s some toddler.

Finally, he gets serious as he tries to figure out whose trying to mess with his friends.

Why is it so sexy when long haired guys pull back their hair when they go into work mode?

The best and saddest thing about MJ is that he knows his role. Even when they all just leave him by himself he (jokingly) acknowledges his place.

The end of the fight scene had me in stitches. The acting and facial expressions were *chef's kiss* I could see every thought going through those poor boys heads and came up with this:

Ren for the fandom:

The most twisted & disturbing about Thyme’s mother is that she isn’t disappointed in him because he almost killed someone but that he failed to cover it up. Neither does she worry that he’d be fooling around with Gorya but because he’s serious about her.

Thyme’s hope and anticipation that he may finally receive a scrap of love from his mother, a hint that she cares at least a tiny bit, but she manages to fail him once again. And the way he reacts with a wry grimace and resignation because despite his hope he expected this from her all along.

It’s only natural and unsurprising that Thyme wanted to buy Gorya and her apology/forgiveness in the beginning when even his own worth has been measured in money and stocks by his mother his whole life. It’s what he’s been taught for 18 years

Thyme has many flaws but it isn’t his fault how he keeps getting failed by the 3 women he loves & whose love he craves the most. It’s gutting to watch him let down over and over again. No matter what he does he never becomes their priority.
