Rescue work is my passion, but it’s not always easy. This January is particularly tough because we don’t have adoption events, which means fewer resources to cover essentials like food, litter, and medicine.

PEBBLES!

These little ones, I've come to believe, are helpers for the humanoid pebbles on homeworld. Hence, this is why they’re good at building geometrically. I believe they were typically found in the diamond’s castles and working in kindergartens.

Please keep in mind that during this event, yes, I’m still doing my normal critter trades and the like, but you cannot request a pebble. If you’d like a pebble, participate in the event.

HOW TO ADOPT!

Pick TWO of these little ones! They don’t like other critters very much, and only really get along with each other.

Draw the two you picked getting along. This could be playing, cuddling, etc. Be creative!

Offer them a place to dig and build. They need a place they can rebuild, they likely won’t want to stay inside of a place they can’t build.

Give the two you picked names and genders. These names and genders can be anything. (Meaning their genders aren’t limited to male and female, you can decide since they’ll be your characters if you’re chosen.)

At least ONE of these must be colored, extra brownie points if you do extra. :)

the last month in the rescue has been wild! adoptions across the board with bella, challah, bagel, calbee, & punchy all finding wonderful homes ❤️🥰 adults are usually harder to find homes for so it’s fantastic news.

chester was adopted by the people who brought him to us & has been totally thriving.

we’ve got a few different intakes the last month too: cotton, who came to us starving & matted & hurting has been doing so well. he’s a BOY! after some bloodwork yesterday, it turns out he’s in about stage two kidney failure, so he will be our first hospice foster. we’re just so grateful the person who found him stepped in & now cotton can know all the love in the world, every day ❤️

martinelli is the pheonix airbnb cat that had my heart — he was neutered & someone had to have had the heart to care for this guy at some point but no neighbor really had information on him other than his habits of eating dog food & bringing kind strangers lizards. no microchip, dirty, with some old wounds healing over — he does get jumpy & bites when he’s scared but you can really tell he adores people & has a lot of love to give ❤️ he’s adjusting well, but we’d prefer to have him with a foster with no cats!

two mama’s (one is the actual mom, the other is her sister who she is very bonded to!) and three kittens coming in to our foster care later this month! five friendly kiddos off the street.
