Wanda said, Fix it fic | AU | Crossover | Some characters might be a little OOC but it’s my fic I don’t care, and I respect her for it.
First cat video ever? 1899, colorized & speed corrected.
Okay, I didn’t believe it was truly a 1899 film but... here’s the original version.
And boy, that’s what I call a restoration!

I really like how my church approaches this issue. They do require masks. No, not because of any of the snarky reasons listed here. The reason why we do this is, regardless of politics or whether or not the government should be enforcing anything, is that we want everyone to be able to come to our services. There are a number of people in the congregation who are afraid to get sick, some of which have pre-existing conditions that put them at increased risk and others who are just genuinely nervous about contracting the virus. These people really want to be able to meet in community with their brothers and sisters in Christ. Because we love them and want them to be able to join us, everyone is required to wear a mask and social distance to make sure that no one feels like they can’t come to church and like they have to be isolated from the rest of the church body. Sometimes it isn’t so much about the political reasons we hear so much about as it is about caring about our fellow brothers and sisters, whether or not we agree with them that masks are necessary. As much as I hate wearing a mask, I’d rather wear one for an hour and a half so that everyone in the congregation can come!
So people who cannot wear masks are not welcome at your church?
If someone has a legitimate medical reason for not wearing one, sure! Accommodations would no doubt be made. I have a cousin with autism, and they have been very inclusive and accommodating to him in the past.

“Just remember, jumping on a regular bison and yelling “yip yip” will not make it fly. But you will.”
physically i am in a pandemic but emotionally i’m in a storm in my best dress, fearless
me, everytime ANOTHER anachronistic poorly executed, patronizing, holier-than-thou "feminist" character gets shoehorned into a period drama, and everyone on this site inevitably loses their mind over them
Sassy girl tugging at her dress while sprawled on elegant loveseat: Why must I wear this CORSET and SEW when I would much rather study the BLADE; how can my sisters be so CONTENT to allow MEN to TREAD on them, whilst I am the only one who wishes to be FREE -

"How Deep The Father's Love," by Stuart Townend
"How deep the Father's love for us
How vast beyond all measure
That He would give His only Son
To make a wretch His treasure
How great the pain of searing loss
The Father turns His face away
As wounds which mar the chosen One
Bring many sons to glory
"Behold the Man upon a cross
My sin upon His shoulders
Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice
Call out among the scoffers
It was my sin that held Him there
Until it was accomplished
His dying breath has brought me life
I know that it is finished
"I will not boast in anything
No gifts, no powr, no wisdom
But I will boast in Jesus Christ
His death and resurrection
Why should I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer
But this I know with all my heart
His wounds have paid my ransom."
