They are people. They are not animals, rabid or otherwise. They are living, breathing, fully conscious human beings who are responsible for their actions and choices regardless of the tribal culture that they grew up in. Failure to recognize that absolves them of their crimes. Animals are just animals after all.

The humanity of these industrial scale rapists makes their crimes worse and even more deserving of the ultimate punishment.

That said, I am not as angry at these people as I could be. After all, their unholy scripture not only encourages this behavior, it actively extols it as a virtue. They are simply taking their cultural and religious traditions to their furthest logical extreme.
