I think it’s odd how many canonically religious characters are head canoned with religious trauma. I understand people like to project onto their favorites, but sometimes I can’t help but think, “can someone please let this character be held by their faith instead of harmed by it for once?”

I think we need to kill the sentiment that people lose their right to personhood once they do something bad enough

I think we need to kill the sentiment that personhood and humanity come in relative amounts and can slowly decrease until they're lost instead of being simple, absolute facts true of every member of the human species

A lot of people genuinely believe that permanent disability isn't a thing that happens to good people who work hard and make responsible choices. A lot of people genuinely think that we get the life we work for and deserve. And this is definitely part of the explanation for why ableism is so prevalent

Every once in a while, I wish the friendship meter from the Sims was real so that way when people tell me "I used Chat-GPT" they can visually see just how much respect I just lost for them in that moment.

Yes I have but they’re expensive and they’re my landlords chickens, so I feel like she should supply me with one or at least be more hands on with this. And I do know it’s a contradiction bc I just said they feel like my family. I’ve been asking people I know on Facebook and even just on Nextdoor if anyone has a trap I could borrow

@wannabecosplayer I had an epiphany and checked Facebook marketplace. There are several for about $20. I messaged about one of them and can hopefully go get it tomorrow
