Dumping an old ship art I did for my Leona x Maeve.

It helped me a lot in refining Maeve’s design and character. Especially the eyes!

What I want to do to people who mischaracterizes canon characters so badly that they get me wanna this physically violent in a pixelated manner. Or turn off their internet.

Now, I’m not saying that if you imprint minor headcanons that skew a little to the left of canon is a bad thing. It’s when fans take it so far that it is utter and pure sh*t. Even as there are bad traits to the characters, there is no reason to multiply that by a 1000. Like when Crowley doesn’t act like a responsible ordinary headmaster, some fans take that to be a reason to act like caca every time someone does some light-hearted joke about him.

There are definitely headcanons and ships that I will never agree with and will shame anytime I come across it, but come on. The recent slew of TWST fics I deigned to sort through have me positively sick.

Be moral and knowledgeable.

If you love the character or even dislike them, check yourself for it you can actually be a true lover/hater. You can only really say you love/hate them if you know them.

If not you are a shallow fan with not enough literacy, and should be graded on your assessments like it is a university exam. So that you can understand the nuance better.

Like how Leona is not a full out supporter of all women, sorry to break the hearts of the ladies. Everything he does for them is a minimum level of respect for a person, woman or not. And if you pull up Cater’s school uniform vignette on me it won’t work since the ginger was trying to trick Leona into coming to a party to have the lady painting help him cheat on a quiz/exam.

The lion does not let himself manipulated for them, even if it is for a questionably nice reason.

Ruggie, the hard working character that literally has the archetype for working towards helping and giving back to his community. He is incredibly ambitious and has the ability to find a way to benefit from his position as Leona’s sidekick.

And Leona is aware of this!

At the same time that he does care for Ruggie and his goals (I am not shipping them, I dislike the LeoRug ship. This is an observation of their relationship from the limited pov as a player), he does not undermine his autonomy to do it himself by letting him do what it with his wallet and letting him stay close enough to tutor him to keep his grades up.

Wheehhh- I am sorry for ranting. This game is quite close to my heart and I care for every character deeply. It is just that some perceptions of them have me quite peeved.
