Just thought to myself "can't women have a bad time in fiction without rape being involved" which really shows you how much you're in the fucking trenches if you are both a horror fan and women fan

Anyway. There's lot of places for these stories don't get me wrong but HUGE shout out to women in horror stories that have terrible things happen that don't involve: pregnancy, motherhood, and/or sexual assault. You too deserve to have a cronenburg eqsue body horror transformation because you trusted a glowing green liquid to solve your problems

i am so pro abortion it actually makes me mad when a character in a show is revealed to be pregnant & she immediately doesn't get an abortion

like you can always tell they're characters written by men when suddenly this carefree independent career woman suddenly starts talking about how wonderful it'd be to have a child & settle down booooo tomato tomato

“reminder that x character did terrible things” spoken not in like a scoldy or judgemental way or that they need to repent for their sins or whatnot. but as in “i love my guy who sucks. why are you taking the sucks out of my guy. that’s literally the best part about them.”

Maybe this time if I think about the character it won't hurt so so bad
