why do you headcanon that character as cis though? just doesn't seem like there's enough evidence in the show to say that. sounds like wishful thinking on your part, because you want them to be like you. I'm all for cis rights but you don't need to headcanon every character that way, it's getting ridiculous.

does anyone have thoughts on sexual violence in nolan’s odyssey? i think it was kind of cowardly and boring of nolan to let circe be the only one to talk about the greeks’ sexual violence towards trojan women in the sacking of troy. how she says “i turned the men into pigs because they’re rapists” and then odysseus says “they just want to go home” and circe is like ok ykw you’re right and then she turns them back and lets them leave, like what was that for? also i think the movie visually implies sexual violence towards women in the scenes where we see the sacking of troy, but it was like it was just enough to remind the viewer of rape to be scary but not enough so that it had to be addressed. which i don’t like. the way odysseus asks circe if the crew hurt her and she says something like “no, but they would’ve” and it’s just brushed off and let go of so easily also feels dismissive and strange. man idk

haven’t seen this said but it is kinda bad to have one (1) out trans actor and have his character immediately die like the first person to die and then we see it like three times over
