He CAN be a bit overwhelming sometimes. He DOES hyperfixate on a topic and struggles to let go. He is sensitive to rejection and has trouble sleeping, and takes coffee to calm down. His filter is rather porous, and half of what he says is a reference that only a few people would get. His feelings get too big for his body and he feels like he's running on motors. He's can be clumsy and inattentive and he puts WAY too much pressure on himself and and and.

He's a mirror held up to some of the attributes that I like THE LEAST about myself... and I still find him loveable. And I finally felt it; that when my partner says that they love me... it's ALL of me...

In the past 2 weeks, I've allowed myself to be unapologetically excited and hyperfixated in a way that I haven't in over a decade. I've stopped profusely apologising for infodumping on my closest friends (who have now started playing too!) And I'm allowing things to make me happy... even if it's "too much".

Having rep like this... fuck, it means the world. My heart is genuinely so full seeing the Hex treat him kindly and taking his needs seriously, AND to see that others feel the same way.

I wouldn't want to remove any part of myself, the "too much" symptoms of my A(u)DHD included, because there's me in there. And the people who love me love those parts, too... (or at least don't mind them🤔)
