Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Place a sheet of aluminum foil on top of the salmon fillet. Rub the spice mixture over the salmon fillet, coating both sides. Refrigerate the salmon for 4-6 hours, covered with another sheet of aluminum foil. Preheat the smoker to 225F.
