Ingredients: 200g extra firm tofu, cubed. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon honey. 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger. 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1/4 cup sliced pickled plums. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. Cooked rice or noodles for serving.
Instructions: After pressing the tofu to get rid of extra water, cube it. To make the marinade, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, sriracha sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Tofu cubes should be added to the marinade and left for 15 to 20 minutes. In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated tofu cubes and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown on all sides. Take out and place aside. Stir-fry the broccoli and red bell pepper in the same pan for 34 minutes, or until they begin to soften, adding more oil as needed. After adding the pickled plums, cook for a further two minutes. Put the tofu back in the pan and combine everything. To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. Add sesame seeds to the stir-fry and continue cooking for an additional minute. Serve cooked rice or noodles with the spicy honey-sesame tofu stir-fry. If desired, garnish with additional sesame seeds. Have fun!
