Okay, let them stay up till 5 in the morning and feel like shit for the next day, eat a bag of candy in one go and have a huge stomach ache, go out without an umbrella and catch a cold, watch a violent movie and get scared?

No matter how injured. If a parent doesn't deem it necessary to see a doctor, it doesn't happen. Teachers can suggest a doctor visit, but unless it's a very acute injury (and even then), it's ultimately up to the parents.

You can be 13. Twisted, maybe broken ankle. You teacher lets you sit out in PE. She's concerned, and tells you to rest when you go home, and see a doctor. You get home, ur parents fill a bath and add some Epsom salts, and then laugh at you for using it moms old colorguard stick as a cane. Take some ibuprofen they say. It's just a little sprain, ur a kid.

You go to school the next day, go to ur office assistant time. Office calls ur mom to come get you, because you're clearly in too much pain for school. Your mom laughs when she gets you, says you just were so determined not to miss school. Scolds you for making the office ladies worry.

You never see a doctor for the injury.

Your parents come into the exam room at every visit. This does not stop with age, except for gynecologist. But your parents are on the medical release forms. They fill them out for you, with you. You do not get to take them off.

You never get to tell s doctor about the ankle. Even though it never quote healed right, and it hurts every day.

Then your 18. In college. Still on your parents insurance, and have no car. The on campus clinic only does std testing. You fall down some stairs. Same injury. You call your parents, crying from the pain. You are using a mop as a cane. They console you and say to have a bath, take some meds, and let them know how it feels in a few days. You end up borrowing your roommates rolling chair to get around for the weekend.

By Monday, you can walk again. You walk miles to class every day. You ask to see a doctor, but your parents won't drive the hour to come take you, and you don't have the insurance card. You are still at their mercy for medical care. The ankle tries to heal again. This time worse than before. The tendons click with every step.

Now you're in your twenties. Finally have your own healthcare. You see a doctor. You get to mention the ankle! They say it's been too long to really even know what was damaged. That you have arthritis now. It healed wrong but it can no longer be fixed.

I love you. You deserve better than how this world has treated you, and always remember to stay true to yourself.

This is me. I'm 18 and transwhite, and despite every anti telling me I wouldn't be able to pass, I do. I go out everyday as my transids and no one bats an eye. No one sees a "fake white girl." They just see.. me? I've noticed a lot of antis calling me a "racist yt girl" for being transracial, though they couldn't tell that I was transwhite, and thought I was ciswhite, which means I passed even to the enemy here.

I want you to know that you absolutely CAN live as your transids. You CAN be yourself without hiding. People are WAYY more accepting irl if you explain it to them. All my homies know I'm transracial, my therapist knows I'm transracial. Antis only exist online as they're only brave enough online. NO ONE CARES IRL, SEE??

Speaking of which... Try not to stress out about antis too much. I know some of their shit can genuinely hurt badly, but not as much as the joy you get from actually being yourself in this lifetime. Do it!! Love yourself, and never let some miserable loser behind a screen convince you not to.

I also see radqueers scared since majority of the world is "anti." Antis actually aren't considered "normal" either. It's not normal to harrass people and is seen as pathetic. Most people won't scold you irl for being radqueer. Some may be confused, but won't care much as soon as you explain. I was told that I wouldn't be accepted either. It's not true, atleast in my case, I just had to give a simple explanation to everyone. It's not as scary as that lil devil in your head makes it.

I don't like talking about not being cis of my transids since I prefer to be seen as white/raceless and pale, but if being vulnerable helps someone out there then so be it.

On MULTIPLE occasions I have seen girls having genuine mental breakdowns because they’ve identified as a lesbian for basically their whole life but one day they found a man attractive and, therefore, believed they wouldn’t be accepted as a lesbian. They were scared the community they were apart of for so long was going to turn its back on them and they weren’t allowed to live the lifestyle (yes, being a lesbian is considered a lifestyle by many) they were so comfortable with.

There were a couple people in the comments who were apart of the lesbian community as well and assured them that the community would not turn its back on them and they supported them and they could still identify with lesbianism if they wanted to. Sadly, these comments were met a lot of backlash saying something along the lines of;

“She’s attracted to men. At the most she’d be bisexual” (this is also biphobic; implying one for of queer is “more queer” than another.)

Or say, “lesbians aren’t attracted to men- hope this helps!”

These people are giving off the same vibes as people who support the ‘Gold Star Lesbian’ term- that queer girls and fems- hell even nonbinary people who don’t even identify femininely- who have been attracted to men or have had sex with men are ‘less good’ or ‘less pure’ than individuals who haven’t.

The normalization of xenophobia and racism towards US Americans done by Europeans is so sickening to me.

Americans are just expected to sit there and take the disrespect that Europeans do. They treat us so poorly and we can't speak up because then you will be "too sensitive"

Disrespecting American cultures, making fun of young children losing their lives, tripping away the nationality of a native and black Americans because they don't count as "American Americans". All done by Europeans.

It's so normal it to be "I hate Americans!" "Americans are so stupid." American this American that. If it were to be done by any other country people will be rightfully.

Xenophobia and racism shouldn't be so normalized to this level

This is ableism, transphobia, exorsexism, and varsexism.

Holy shit. I cannot believe this. So much is wrong with this, where do I even begin?

The people they want to ban from driving include:

-Deaf and HOH people. (Literally for what purpose? Because they may not be able to hear honking and police sirens? Well, just being observant of surroundings is all that's really necessary, you don't have to hear to be a safe driver!)

-People with colorblindness (not all forms of colorblindness make it impossible to tell a red light vs green light!)

-People with epilepsy. (Plenty of epileptics are not a danger behind the wheel!)

-People with paraphilic disorders. (I cannot even concieve of a possible connection. It's just stereotyping us as dangerous individuals.)

-Schizospecs. (Literally just the stereotype that a schizospec person becomes dangerous when having an episode, that is not the case for a majority of them.)

-People with personality disorders (again, for what purpose? Just stereotyping us as dangerous?)

-People with behavioral disorders (Like with para disorders and personality disorders, its just again, another stereotype!)

-People with neurodevelopmental disabilities (not all neurodevelopmental disabilities impair ability to drive!)

Does anyone know like, an attraction label for when your brain literally cannot differentiate between platonic and romantic attraction? and honestly can't tell familial attraction apart either
