man I just found out that in 1978 I specified a weight that I never wanted to weigh more than, and it's literally the exact weight that I've been sitting around for years (whether I've been trying to gain weight or not eating very much, I can't bloody change my weight) 🙃 I don't know how to feel about this

the argument that "incest is always bad because of inherent power dynamics within families" is like saying straight couples aren't allowed to exist because men hold inherent power over women. because yes, at a societal level, men hold power over women and parents and other older family members hold power over their children, but it doesn't mean straight and consang relationships are always unhealthy, they can be mutually respectful and loving. "but men in most places don't legally hold power over women like parents legally hold power over their children" when men legally owned their wives, while yes there were a lot of men who abused that power or didn't know any better, there still existed healthy relationships, because shockingly not all men are evil and they can care about the autonomy of their partners. rather than blame individuals and break up loving relationships, why don't we eradicate those power dynamics at a societal level?

I like that there's a type of Beatles fan who are only interested in the Beatle girls and pretty much only Beatle girl post. I think another type of Beatles fan that we need more of are ones who are only interested in the Beatle animals and pretty much only Beatle animal post. bonus points for hornyposting about them. everyone loves Paul's dog Martha, but what about Pyramus and Thisbe the cats, and Alice the cat, and every other cat, and all of Paul's horses and all of Paul's sheep, and all the dogs, etc

what's the opposite of depersonalisation called when you suddenly realise you're a real live being with a body and thoughts and things outside of yourself that influence your thoughts, and you're not just roleplaying the game of life but actually living it right here and now, typing out a tumblr post while eating soup
