My name is Uni (she/her), and I am primarily an artist, writer, programmer, and reader. I am in various fandoms, most of which you will be able to see on my banner along with a few flags. That will be posted at the bottom of this post as well, though will become outdated eventually.

I am currently working on four main projects, those being:

The Series of Yandorix (fantasy novel series)

An unnamed ARG about mudskippers

S.A.V.I.O.R., a post-apocalyptic video game about robots, gods, and people who are not okay

The Observer, a novella about a person with DPDR who tries to wait out their illness by doing what they believe they best can at this time: learn.

I also have autism and identify as aroace, both of which I am proud of :D

And speaking of people with DPDR, I happen to have it, too, so be mindful of that. You may send me asks about it if you wish, though please note that it affects everyone in different ways and my experience is far from everyone else's.

Most of my posts on Tumblr will be related to fandoms I'm in, though I will post updates on my original work when major my significant things happen, or whenever I feel like writing about them. I post all of my art on my bluesky (@TheUniqueen) if you're curious about that.

I also run the studio Halfhearted Productions, which creates original video games and has no other members but myself currently. It has a page on Itch.io and Bluesky, though I may also make a Tumblr account for it as well outside of this one in specific.

Oldish afk ocs I had. They were both supposed to be graveborn (though Sophi, the left one, has a far more hypogean color scheme but I have no colored images of them rn). I decided to doodle them again earlier today. They were almost doomed yuri, I kinda sorta shipped them near the end of my hyperfixation but it didn't really go that far. they were certainly doomed though. I don't remember the very specific events causing this but trust me

I lowk wanna reboot them and bring them back in some way... The Darkness Dilemma is mainly remakes of fandom ocs I've had and they would fit in perfectly there so I might just throw them into that series with new lore (still somewhat the same)

5 fics on ao3 (one of which is a oneshot I read already, one of which doesn't actually feature them as it was ended before it could get to that point, and the others all being explicit and I am not one for those sorts of fics) and barely any tumblr posts (shoutout to that one guy who made those few incorrect quotes posts about them, one other post on here about them and it's a PHONE BACKGROUND).

For me, it's one of those medias I find very interesting and love to analyze, but believe is pretty problematic in some manners. It's also one of those in which I don't think any of the characters are good people whatsoever, but have views, lore, development, etc that paints a picture and has things to say when interpreted based on different values.

It's rare I see critical fans of things often, and to be one you don't even have to hate the whole thing, just certain aspects. I don't understand people who only ever interact with media they believe is wholly unproblematic, as it locks you in an echo chamber with your beliefs never being challenged, and you never having to argue to uphold them (and sometimes it never even impacts the media. For example, one of my friends said they wouldn't watch tadc because they saw a single tiktok about the jackbox drama that was missing a lot of context as to prove the poster's side correct).

If you are a fan of something and do uphold its values, story and characters interpretations are just as great to see. If you like a character, you may like them even more by digging deep into why, exactly, they hold the traits you adore so much about them. Theorize a bit, if you've the time and drive.
