OUTBREAK has started! The premise is basically just a step into the episodes, so no, this is not a pilot (skipped that part, because I'm cool).
- Premise -
No-name, a freshly new amnesiac sans wakes up in the Anti-Void, meeting none other than Error. How did he get there? How will he get out?
I really hope you guys enjoy this, and REMEMBER: I don't really care anymore about the quality of the animations, I'm more focused on getting the story out as quickly as I can!
As you all watch this story, I hope the twists and turns leave you excited for the future of a character who lost their way.
UM just a disclaimer as I'm writing this, this is just the premise. The first episode is undergoing progress and won't be released for several months. A full episode is 11-20 minutes, the premise is just 1!
The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.
Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.
If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.
Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.
This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!
Seriously, this is a tumblr-killer feature. This breaks the most fundamental way tumblr is different from any other social network. This makes tumblr just another blueskytwitterthreads. Or worse: An unfederated mastodon clone.
Please, mutuals, post about this, comment and reblog the original post (while you still can without making it your own quote-post). I don't know if staff is looking or if the feedback would matter, but seriously, this is a terrible change that would kill tumblr as we know it. Please, don't roll it out.
look, I can endure any kind of UI changes that are supposed to help tumblr-rookies to understand how this works. They may be a nuisance, but that's ok, we have x-kit or we can get used to buttons being here or there.
But this. This changes the data architecture. This changes the SINGLE THING that makes tumblr the "... yes and" website. This KILLS THE COLLABORATIVE POSTING THAT MAKES THIS SITE DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER MEDIA PLATFORMS.
Tumblr has explicitly said in the past that they do not look at comments on their updates posts. You have to PUT IN A SUPPORT TICKET AND SELECT FEEDBACK FROM THE DROPDOWN
Find support resources and documentation for Tumblr
It's ALWAYS the sharp head or even sharper head but it's for one fucking Sans in particular, and he's my AU's version 😭
I am not afraid of the rest, however >:j

"Every monster has to have a place to go home to. Every monster has to have friends. They have to have something to eat, somewhere to go hang out. The Underground is a wide place. The only limit to all of this is your imagination."
"My goal with these days wasn't to show you a new hidden truth you will never be able to access. My goal is to remind you that you have always been able to go if you just hold the key of asking "what's there?" "What's under the bridge?" "What's beyond the horizon?"
"Maybe you guys feel only my answer to these questions counts or matters, but to me I only feel the opposite. This is just one interpretation. The Underground is as big as you want it to be, and I invite you to come behind the wall with me."
~Toby Fox

I had to pay tribute to such a beautiful quote. Little bit of a different art style than I usually make but I had fun making it regardless.
Whilst I have something bigger planned for Undertale's 12th anniversary, as that marks my ten year anniversary of being in the fandom, I wanted to create art pieces that pictured two separate moments of time.
Ten years ago, when Undertale released, I was about to turn 9. At the time of posting, on the 21st, I am now 19 years old.
I was a very lonely, angry, and hurt child back then. I won't go into detail, but before and after Undertale's release, I was constantly and repeatedly abused by adults around me. I was put into a women's program before I turned 10 and was bullied and othered by the only kids there. To top it off, I was kept from a proper education and school environment, which meant I missed out on developing some important social skills.
In 2017, one of the program residents had her two eldest children move in with her. Her eldest loved Undertale, and it was practically the first thing I learned about their interests. I didn't watch gameplay or play the game myself, but that person showed me animations and told me about the game. I became very fixated from then on.
The fandom was what made me fall in love with the game and fuelled the flames for the art and stories I would create today. I fell in love with how creative and passionate the fandom was. I consumed comic dubs, animations, compilations, and anything I could get my undiagnosed autistic hands on. I wrote, I drew, I created.
I held onto Undertale as hard as I could while I went through the worst things that no child should experience. Though adults around me tried to forbid my love for the game and even took away all of my art supplies to stop me from creating art for it, I refused to let go. And I am so glad I persisted.
Now it's 2025. I'm not alone anymore, and I'm safe. I'm still in the fandom after all this time, and Undertale has solidified itself as my most treasured and long-standing special interest.
TLDR: Undertale means a lot to me, got me through the worst moments of my life, and made me into the artist I am today. Thank you, Toby Fox, for creating such an amazing game.
The Inktobertale/Inktale challenge originates from the mix of Inktale and October.
The challenge consists of drawing a prompt with Ink!Sans either every day during October, or during the highlighted days for a more condensed "weekly" challenge.
Any medium is welcome for this challenge, including writing.
This theme was created and voted as an Ink!Sans challenge, since there are a lot of other Undertale monthly challenges. The Inktale challenge/Inktobertale focuses solely on the character of Ink!Sans. You are free to make Ink!Sans interact with other characters.
You are free to skip, swap, or alternate days as you like. You can also do it digitally. Feel free to swap between different challenges! The point is to have fun and experiment this month, so make this challenge a fun experience! The use of AI is strictly prohibited.
The addition from 2022’s Inktobertale is an alternative "weekly" challenge! The second list is a suggestion for people who would like to try a different pace, with roughly one drawing every few days. You're totally free to swap with other prompts if some speak to you better for this list as well.
You are welcome to translate this list into another language for non-English-speaking participants to enjoy!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! If you want more answers, browse the #inktobertaleasks tag!
10 years already... time flies by, and as someone who heavily self-inserted as Frisk when I was 12, I can't help but feel like they must have been growing alongside me. I'm already 22, I can no longer wear stripes...
Lots of close-ups below (WITHOUT the pages), because there are A LOT of details to seek

Select "keep reading" to read the full post, it's long.
The Blog
This blog will soon get a rework and I would like to make it clear that this AU is not intended for younger audiences. While mature content will not be posted for now, it will be in the future. I intend this AU to be for mature audiences at their own discretion.
I will make this clear in the bio when I rework the blog.
The Comic
A while ago I made a post declaring that the comic's writing is underway. I have completed the prologue and have been slowly working on the pages. I have 5 pages with completed line art and one in progress.
Originally, I wanted to shade the comic in halftones, but that quickly became a source of frustration when I tested the previews on my phone and a private test of the second page on Tumblr. The presence of moire was clearly going to bother me, and I'd rather not hurt the eyes of my readers, so I will line art the comic first before I colour it.
The comic will be in greyscale, with colourful cover art.
As a treat, here is a wip screenshot of the 6th page.
Progress on the comic will vary and will be slow as I am in university. But when the prologue is done I will release the pages and will share progress for the writing and the future batch releases of the FATE Route, which is the true storyline of Eschatale.
From Soultale to Eschatale: A reflection of the past 8 years
Over two years ago, I drew concepts for a rework and overhaul of an AU I created in 2017. The designs and ESPECIALLY the story went through quite a few changes and reworks since, and, honestly, I am quite happy now with the concepts I have and the audience I want to attract for this AU.
Eschatale used to be Soultale (not to be confused with the au created by uru1), which was an AU that served as a way to express how I was feeling and a way for me to experiment with my art and creativity. Undertale became my special interest and I had no intention of letting it go.
The first iteration of this AU that I can find online is on Wattpad, where it was centered around my self-insert and touched on dark topics in ways that only an uneducated and immature ten year old could. And then I got ahold of deviantart, and it was history (I won't reveal how to find my old stuff because god forbid anyone sees how I was in 2017 as a ten year old with free reign of the internet).
A self-insert turned into an Undertale OC, more characters based off of past friends were created, and Soultale grew up with me. I made physical comics of the AU for a childhood friend until 2019 and there were times when I turned to the AU for comfort and expression when I was at my lowest (which was most of the time back then).
Soultale became a culmination of my trauma, feelings, thoughts, and my imagination. And, in 2020, there eventually came a time where I decided that it was time to let it go. It served its purpose and I was finally in a safe environment.
Before Eschatale, in 2022, I made concepts for Kismettale. Obviously, I didn't like it. The AU felt bland and didn't seem like it could stand out. Plus, all the characters I have grown immensely attached to weren't present.
2023 rolled around and so did my Undertale special interest. I was giving non-university courses a try in the creative industry, I was content with the fact I left high school after completing year 10, and I had a renewed creative drive. I began committng to the AU in August of 2023 and ...
... Yeah. I scrapped Callisto and redesigned Alphys and Eve.
I even tried my hand at pixel sprites...!
How terrifying!
... Peak design!!
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to add to this AU. I didn't want the locations to take place in a standard USA environment, because I am not a US citizen. Australia seemed to be significantly lacking its representation in the Undertale AU department, so I decided that I wanted to impliment my country into the story and some of the designs. After all, I live here and it's the most familiar environment and culture to me.
Now, two years after Eschatale's conception, I have a good hold on what I want to do with this AU. It even has its own multiverse continuation or "sequel" because why the fuck not.
I'm excited to one day show everyone how much this AU means to me, and I hope that you all come to love my characters as much as I do.
