Hey I'm not pro rq or anything but I have a quick question

Question real quick, what does radnormal think of with anti-contact people who have harmful para's?

Additionally, I think there's a misuse of the term "paraphiliac disorder" as there's a difference between paraphilia, and paraphiliac disorder (one is a mental illness, the other is a disorder which impairs people, like any other disorder/disability does)

Apologies if this ask is uncomfortable or anything, feel free to throw rocks at me, but I wanted to ask for clarification and also possibly correct potential misuse of terminology (since, by definition it comes under ablism since due to being disorders, which I 100% know is definitely not the intent, hence why I asked if it was misused or intentional)

Also sorry if I over explained, I'm always overly anxious asking these questions when people create terms like this and Im always like "omg everyone's gonna get meeee" 💔

no issues ! When i was first making and typing all of this, i remember i made this all at like, 12 am -> 1 am -> 2 am so i might have used incorrect terminology so ill look over it

but to answer your question

radnormals will still think of non-contact harmful paraphiles as potentially dangerous, sorry but we cannot just trust someone who say they are “anti contact” and yet still consume content regarding their paraphilia. We encourage therapy and recovery, but we do not like people who still stick to their para and just slap on a “but we don’t REALLLLY have contact with our attraction source!”

I would hope this make sense? I’m in the midst of making something and i do have to study for finals, i do understand where you are getting from with your concerns of ableism, so i will look over and see if i can make any changes that still make sense in regard to the stances of radnormal. BUT to answer, for some reason I didn’t see this in my inbox???? I changed it to normal, due to how I see queer as BEING normal. Being queer and gay and trans should be normalized, not radqueers if you can even differentiate them. Queer people have been oppressed for so many years, decades even. Just like other minorities, like Black, POC, Disabled and others have been oppressed in history. They never hurt anyone, neither do queers. A lot of people ask this question sooo I don’t mind, I didn’t really know what name to use. Normalqueer is probably taken, besides it’s too long

however, radqueers are harmful, I literally do not want to argue my stance on this as I’ve seen enough evidence and what it has done to people.
