So seeing as I've gotten all my predictions wrong bar 1 so far I thought I'd revise my predictions for the final 4 to laugh at tomorrow:

Scott- Aeolus. I know it's the same as the first post but I really think he's gonna be aeolus. Lowkey would love a Tyche Scott though...

Apollo- Shelby

Now that the 12 gods for pantheon have been released, thought I'd jot down my predictions for who is the champion for who (so that I an laugh at myself for when I inevitably get them wrong)

Some of these might have some reasoning, most of them will be based on vibes:

Scott- Aeolus. This is one of the more likely ones imo. I think an Aeolus champion fits with a lot of his other characters vibes (especially bf!scott) I think Scott's stated that he's not the champion of a Pantheon God and that his god was in epic and I think Aeolus is the only character that fits that description

Owen- Pan or Apollo

Pyro- Morpheus or Hephaestus

Shelby- Athena

Martyn- Hermes or Tyche

Cleo- Chronos

Pearl- Nyx

Abolish- Zeus or Morpheus (would not be surprised if he was Athena's champion though)

Drift- Tyche

Legundo- Hephaestus

Apo- Artemis. Another one I'm pretty confident about. originally this was based on vibes but apparently Apo said she's the champion of a god with a 7 letter name

I know I'm a miniscule blog, but I feel like it's important to state nonetheless.

Going forward, I know I'm personally not going to support them, I think what they've done is quite frankly disgusting and hope all the victims are doing alright. I think it's important to educate ourselves and uplift the victims right now.

I will no longer be posting anything regarding Avidmc/ Marma1ade; and will be deleting any posts I've made in the past discussing them.

I know a lot of people thought of them as a safe space (especially queer people). CC's like Smajor, ZombieCleo, Owengejuice and Aimsey have built amazing safespaces and I encourage you guys to check them out.

I like life series. I like the Grishaverse. Here's what orders I think the characters would be.

Bdubs- Amplifier

This one's technically not an order but I thought I'd include it anyway. Mainly picked this one because he's very connected to 'the world' and is usually associated with moss and all that. He usually sticks with Etho in a way that reminds me of Mal and Alina's dynamic in the books.

Scar- Inferni

Pretty self explanatory. My guy likes fire. Also connects with how infernis are seen as some of the most 'aggressive' grisha, connecting to how in secret life he was seen as the villain.

BigB- Durast

Cobblestone backrooms. Titanium egg.

Etho- Alkemi

He's literally the redstone guy. Also he's connected a lot with the creation of stuff so I feel like he fits in well here

Gem- Tidemaker

Honestly, I'm not too sure why I put her here, but I feel like it fits. The End reminds me of the sea for some reason as well

Impulse- Durast

Was stuck between putting him in as a Tidemaker or a Durast but I feel like Durast fits him better because he's a redstoner and also I think imps are associated with rocks a lot

Tango- Inferni

Another very obvious one considering all the blazeborn headcannons. Parallels Scar as well which I think is pretty fun considering the Ranch incident

Ren-Tailor

His Wild life power was shapeshifting. He roleplays and his whole shtick is werewolves

Mumbo- Tailor

This solely comes from how he keeps on possessing people. Also suit pun

Skizz-Healer

Inspired by how he's usually portrayed as an Angel and is generally considered a positive force in the life series.

Lizzie- Alkemi

I'm pretty sure she's the prime potion user in the life series

Joel- Durast

Car.

Scott-Healer

He's very loyal and plays the social game really wellll. I feel like he had to go in the people focused order

Jimmy-Heartrender

He has the canary curse and is notoriously connected with death

Cleo-Heartrender

Same as Jimmy, she's a literal zombie and her Wild Life power. Heartrenders need people in their line of sight to heartrend which I feel like that connects nicely with Real Life

Grian- Sun Summoner

I was stuck between Sun summoner and Squallar, but ended up settling on sun summoner because he's a watcher and then there's the obvious sun motif

Pearl-Squallar

Her power in Wild Life was flying and she's usually associated with owls.

Martyn-Tidemaker

(Season 3 spoilers ahead)

I am in mourning.

Honestly I quite liked the way it ended. The baby was made into a player for the VIPs entertainment and to raise the stakes. To add the "drama". Because both the VIPs and the Frontman believe that the players will sacrifice the baby for the money, greed over compassion. From the VIPs pov, no one is rooting for the baby, it has no chance, it's completely reliant on someone else, it isn't human to them. But, when Gi hun sacrifices himself for the baby, the most vulnerable person in the game it shows all the good things about humanity to the frontman specifically. He could've killed the baby, she had no way of defending herself, nor did she have the same level of consciousness the other players had. But he didn't, because no human life is less valued than another. He didn't succumb to greed like the Frontman thought, he put the baby before him-debunking the Frontman's ideology. I love how his final words parallel not only what the Frontman said to him in the Limo, but how he also gambled on horses, showing how much he's grown in the last years. I thought there was something very poetic about that, along with the baby- The most innocent player, the only one who's a completely clean slate- being the winner.

I do wish that 333 got a redemption arc though, I would've loved to see more of a connection between him and the baby, especially considering how during the first half of Sky Squid Games, he seemed to genuinely care about her. I don't think it makes much sense for him to kill her for the money, considering he would've automatically gotten her share, right? I do think he was probably bluffing though so yknow.

Idk how I feel about Gi hun killing Daeho either, because I felt like it was an important part of his character that he didn't kill anyone (unless it's self defence) but that might just be my personal bias playing a role.

Was kinda a loser before the circus

Projects onto Gangle because she reminds him of himself pre circus

On that note, he was a lot nicer pre circus (think less apathetic and more sarcastic) but he stopped caring after a few years.

Was a beta tester for the game

Didn't work for C&A, but decided to playtest the game to try and get some extra cash for school

Was in school, training to be a vet

Got food poisoning from a poorly cooked corn casserole during the first semester
