I Had A Marvelous Time, Ruining Everything

Hi friends! I have ONE extra VIP ticket to opening night of The Eras Tour in Glendale on Fri 3/17. Face value.

Floor, Section P, Row 19, Seat 16.

I’ll have to meet you IN PERSON at State Farm stadium because SeatGeek is not allowing floor seats to be sold or transferred. I’ll also give you the VIP merch that comes with the ticket!

So, here’s my experience in a nutshell. The only shows/tours I’ve missed were Red and 1989. Long story. I did the boosts pre-reputation and had priority for LoverFest (and got pit tickets, RIP 😭). For Eras tour, I got an email a couple weeks ago basically saying, “Thank you for being a loyal fan! We’re going to boost your place in line.”

Today, for Glendale it took 1.5 hours to get from the waiting room to buying tickets. This was *SO* MUCH BETTER than any experience I’ve had in past tours with Ticketmaster. AND I got VIP seats to both nights!!! (Thank you credit cards). I fully recognize my privilege to be able to do this, and I’m SO grateful, but that’s not my point.

Why did Taylor and her team use SeatGeek for those shows? SeatGeek is NOT owned by Ticketmaster, from what I can tell so far. Why use Ticketmaster for the others? I’m so intrigued…

You guys, I’m just so proud of what we made, and I know with every second of this moment that we wouldn’t have been able to make this short film if it weren’t for you, the fans. Because I wouldn’t be able to rerecord my albums if it weren’t for you. You emboldened me to do that. And I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand new album comes out October 21, and I will tell you more at midnight.
