If you want a post-village escape sort of thing I absolutely love When the Rust Settles In by DoubleYouTeeEff

If you want a 5th Lord au then I highly suggest the series Come Hell or High Water by Constant_Crisis and MisterTiberius

Winters and the Beast by averysexyleon is a great really long series, and it’s sort of a post-village resurrection au, but they’re not quite free yet

Mold, Metal, and Other Earthly Things by EidiCon kind of a “what if Ethan knew about Miranda in the beginning” rewrite of Village!! I’m sorry my description is so bad, but it’s absolutely amazing trust me <3 Also if you like this one I HIGHLY recommend their other works too, I adore their writing style

AND FINALLY!! Perhaps my favorite au I’ve read yet, Bad Dates Jukebox by DjPwp!! It’s a supernatural creatures au where Ethan (and almost everyone else) lives in Louisiana. Everyone is an asshole and awful, but in a good way I promise!!

Now the thing is I had initially planned to make Ethan a part of a secondary ship I was going to put in the fic as well, which was going to be Zeno x Ethan (Zenthan? Ethzen?), however! I’m also planning to incorporate Village into this and it’s reawakening my love of Wintersberg. So my question is:

if Grey hair Ethan and your Wintersberg family!Ethan meet (or Grey hair Ethan accidentally got teleported in your universe fic) I imagine their reaction of first time meeting each other:

Karl probably walking in after having breakfast only to see there's like 2 Ethan's chatting there whatever they are discussing about. Good thing the kids aren't there because he's gonna have to form a plan of explaining to the kiddos on why on earth there is like 2 moldy man inside the house.

Karl would squint his eyes or blink twice faster (than Kafka’s accidentally burning the fucking pancake)to check if he is hallucinating or not.

suddenly two of the Ethan's noticed him and Karl has a feeling that not only he will die of a heart attack but also he won't be walking tomorrow. Rip.
