Another sketchy sketch of the crow boy. You're never going to unsee it now, but GrimR's lips are supposed to look like a crow in flight.

Been thinking about GrimR with silver hair lately. Perhaps his hair is normally black when he reaps souls, but it turns white when he prolongs lives. ._.
I started playing Coral Island as...lol
Bro's ready to plow yer fields.
Some rando facts about Urok:
He loves cats and will go out of his way to pet a cat.
He is inordinately superstitious and believes that placating spirits is paramount. If he sees someone break a superstition he will lecture them on all the reasons why they shouldn't, then show them all the measures one takes to avoid it.
When he's not chopping off heads, he's his village's mortician (he is diligent about giving funeral rites to everyone, especially those he's killed).
In his spare time he helps with farming. He's particularly keen on growing mushrooms and medicinal fungi (which is pertinent to Sienese funerals).
Trying my hand at comics. Don't @ me, I'm a noob. 🙏
Urokmura (above) is a character from the Sverenne legend, GrimR of Nowither.

She 👀
More scribbles (old and new) of the ancient morgai, Dietre, the woman who died a thousand deaths.
Since you've said the tales of Sverenne take place in different eras, I now have a couple of questions regarding Sverenne's timeline:
What is the chronological order of the tales of Sverenne?
Do you plan on implementing time labels like BC and AD, or will you make your own?
Sorry, my timeline is a hot mess, and I pity those who will try to read it. I just want to demonstrate that the storylines overlap and intersect. The chronology is a bit off at the moment and it's missing a ton of information, but I'll fix it over time.
Do you have established heights for the Sverenne characters? If so, what are they?
These heights aren't exactly permanent, cause I'm fickle and I don't like finalizing anything. But these are what they are for now:
Malignant Remedy (minus Poa, because I'm planning to redesign her again.)
GrímR of Nowither
I didn't add the gods, because they are shapeshifters with ever changing heights.
Last scribbles of Urok and GrimR for awhile. I swear!

The Hierarchy of Sverenne Immortality
Tier 1: True Immortals
Invincible immortals. They can not be maimed. They only die when the universe dies.
Examples: Habenumbra (The Universe), Hexikutli (Her Father)
Tier 2: Demi Immortals
Immortals who can die infinite deaths, but resurrect shortly afterwards. They are typically birthed as adults, and they remain their predetermined age for eternity. The only thing they are impervious to is aging.
Example: The only known Demi Immortals are the Morgai - the wandering psychopomps of Sverenne.
The Morgai are unique, for they are believed to be the only entity that exists in all adjacent realities. Clerics have repudiated the existence of the Morgai, because how can a being who lacks omnipotence be more immortal than the gods themselves? And so Morgai are thought to be "anti-gods".
Tier 3: Lesser Immortals
Immortals who can be killed, but can only be revived by another's hand. Without assistance, they can potentially lie dormant for thousands of years at a time.
Examples: The Old Gods, The New Gods, Corrupted Morgai
Tier 4: Quasi Mortals
Those in this bracket are mortals who can potentially live forever, unless they are killed - either by another or by their own hand. Death for a Quasi Mortal is permanent. They also age naturally, but can cease visible growth by triumphing over the aging of the mind.
Examples: Dragons, Mimims etc.
Tier 5: Mortals
Those who are genetically encoded to die. It goes without saying that Mortals have the shortest lifespans, and are the most vulnerable to ailment and attrition.
Examples: Humans, Allus, Goblins, Naiads, Dryads etc.
I was too lazy to draw this before, but Urokmura is supposed to have dragon burns all across his right side.
My sad attempt at designing Urokmura in his dragon form. RIP. It will be my goal to get better at drawing monsters this year :0
Throwback to last year when I tried to design Urok in dragon form, but accidently deleted the file off my computer 🥲
Cyberpunk AU scribbles of GrimR and Urok, inspired by Katana Zero.
(In Sverenne, GrimR is a legendary morgai and Urokmura is an ancient Sienese dragon.)

Necromancy in Sverenne
Similar to homeopathy's classification as a pseudoscience, necromancy and mediumship were formally declared by the highest order of mages to be pseudomagics—performative practices mistakenly believed to use legitimate magical methods. While ghost sightings and spiritual clairvoyance have been abundantly recorded throughout history, no evidence has proven that these apparitions truly exist. Experts in scientific and magical communities attribute these spectral encounters to the delirium paired with indigestion, or the hallucinations manifested by neurodegenerative disorders.
Genuine necromancy and mediumship is thought to be the domain of the morgai—mythological psychopomps whose existence is widely disputed—and uncertified organizations, such as The Necromantic Circle of Mages, primarily base their "research" around morgai magic—fabled magic that revolves around death. It is their unbridled belief in superstition that has led to the perception that these necromantic groups are infact religious cults, as opposed to legitimate magical orders.
Despite being pilloried by the most prestigious of magical organizations, necromantic groups persist, though they predominately operate underground. It is their chief mission to make necromancy a reality, and to prove that eternal existence can be achieved by means of magical resuscitation. Though their credibility has only continued to erode, as they have been caught fabricating breakthroughs by casting puppetry magics on corpses, and placing voice enchantments on heirlooms.
A new update of the Sverenne map. There are actually three major continents: The Sun Continent to the South (Accode and The Ottoneshan Empire), The Moon Continent to the North (Druwol, Myr, Ureska, Bjerganval, Yischt, The Siens and The Broken Isles) and the Bolide Continent to the far north, which is a large icey landmass not depicted here.
I also made an alternative map which marks roughly where some of the Sverenne legends took place.
Where the most notable Sverenne characters come from:
