I commissioned my artist friend to make me a portrait of Sid because I need a picture for my dormroom and he was my p̶r̶e̶t̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶c̶r̶u̶s̶h̶ childhood hero but I need some ideas. What Crosby-esque elements should I ask her to include? What positions/set-ups should I suggest? (And by that I mean I need to know what will look the least like cheesy hockey porn if my friend decides to draw him mostly naked, which, knowing her, she probably will.) I need your vision, guys! Help me out and I will love you forever, and post the picture here when it's done, of course. Thanks <3

I just got John Ferling's book "Jefferson and Hamilton: The Rivalry that Forged a Nation" and I've only read the first two chapters, but it seems like Ferling is doing his best to portray Jefferson in the best light possible to the detriment of Hamilton. I'll be the first to admit Hamilton's immaturity relative to Jefferson in the beginning of the struggle for independence, but it seems like Ferling is reluctant to give Hamilton what IS due him...he seems to downplay obstacles he was forced to overcome in his youth in order to avoid comparison in the one area where Jefferson, will all the easy opportunities he was given early in life, would certainly come out lacking. But I've only read the first two chapters. Anyone who's read this book want to comment on it? I'm interested in what people have to say.
