Death Cab for Cutie : New Music
I saw DCFC at the Crocodile Cafe back in January. It was the first show they played since spiting up with Chris Walla and they were not only introducing new songs but new band members as well. I've seen DCFC 5 times now and its still a pleasure to see them live. The band was really playful and happy on stage. Ben sang his heart out and I'm pretty sure he sweat out all his water weight. That man can sing, and sweat. The band along with two new members were really great. It seemed as if they had been together all along and it looks like they're all great friends. The new songs they introduced were taken really well by the audience. They have a great early Death Cab sound and also introduced fresh electronic beats which made some of the songs sound like they could very well be off of Narrow Stairs. Wanna listen to them? Well I have you covered! Below you will find 3 new songs, "Black Sun" which is the first single off the album and "No Room In Frame" and "Ghost of Beverly Drive". I hope you enjoy them and keep an eye out for their new album Kintsugi out on March 31st.
